Using the Free Transform tool

- [Instructor] In addition to the specific transformation tools, there is a more general transform tool, cunningly named, the Transform Tool. And you can access it using the letter E on the keyboard. Now before I do that, what I'm going to do is zoom out slightly just here because I've drawn a couple of fence panels that I want to distort so it looks as if we're seeing kind of a view of them from above. So once they're selected, I can now tap E on my keyboard that gets me the Free Transform Tool here, or the Transform Tool. There it is in the panel. Then this one has a widget that appears, and I'll just talk you through the four icons that it has here. It has this Constrain icon which means if you click that, that anything you do with the tool will be constrained to a regular transformation, so you don't have to hold down the Shift key. Then the next icon down, if I just turn that one off, is Free Transform. So…
