Using the Gradient Annotator
- [Instructor] The Gradient Annotator allows you to precisely control how a gradient is applied to an object. Using the selection tool, click on an object that has a gradient applied. Click on the Gradient tool in the tools panel. And notice that the Gradient Annotator appears on top of the object with the gradient applied. Drag this icon to resize the gradient proportionately within the object in which it's applied, and drag this icon to disproportionately resize the gradient within the object in which it's applied. Drag the color stops to change where the color stop begins and ends within the gradient. Click on the diamond to drag where the two colors transition from one to another. Click and drag the Gradient Annotator to reposition it within the object to change how it's applied.
