Using a Pathfinder operation

- All right now we need to unite our three path outlines together. Normally I would do that using the shape builder tool. But there are times where the shape builder doesn't quite work right. In which case you have a backup in the form of a Pathfinder operation. And so the first thing I need to do is switch back to my black arrows selection tool up here at the top of the toolbox. And then I'll click on a circle to select it. Now for reasons that will become obvious in the very next movie, I need to keep that circle intact. And so I'm going to go up to the edit menu and choose the copy command. Or you have that standard keyboard shortcut of control C here in the PC or command C on the mark. Next I'll go ahead and partially marquee all three of my path outlines in order to select them. Now I'm looking to increase the line weight fairly dramatically. So I'll go over here to the stroke option inside the properties panel…
