Using Photoshop with Image Trace

- [Instructor] There will doubtlessly be occasions when you're performing an image trace that you just can't quite get the results you're looking for, no matter how much tuning you try and do inside of the image trace panel. Well on occasions like that is where I jump to Photoshop. And I can get there really quickly by holding down the Alt or Option key and double clicking on my image, and it will open in Photoshop like so. Now I use a couple of different techniques for my own images. Of course, every single image is different. But here in this PSD which has transparency, what I do on occasion is add a solid color layer and then pick a color that I know is not in the actual image if I just drag that beneath here, and that can sometimes help you to get a grip on things like hair, for example in the background, and other difficult to target objects.
