Using Smart Guides for isometric illustration
- One nice aspect to creating isometric illustration is the fact you can design a lot of your content in a flat format then using actions, format it to an isometric projection with relative ease. I build most of my isometric artwork that way. But it's not the only way to create this style of illustration in Adobe Illustrator. So let me show you how you can leverage Smart Guides to build your art automatically within an isometric projection. As I covered previously, in this course, we're using what's called a normal isometric projection, meaning, we're using the most common form of isometric projection in terms of the angles, and those angles are simply 90 degrees, and 30 degrees. You could do a lower projection, or a higher projection as I showed in a previous movie, but for this course, we're dealing with these measurements showing here.
