Using the Spiral tool

- [Instructor] All right now, I'll show you how to use the third line tool. The Spiral Tool right here which is easily the wackiest line tool of them all just because pretty darn difficult to control. It also has a ton of different keyboard modifications that you can apply. All of which I'll throw at you. You can decide for yourself if you like them or not. And so I'll go ahead and turn off the lines layer once again just so that we have a little more of a clean slate. I'll go ahead and turn off the guides layer as well. And then I'll select the Spiral Tool inside my floating panel right here. If you don't have a floating panel then you can just click and hold on the current occupant of the line tool slot right here and choose the Spiral Tool from the fly out menu. And now I'll just go ahead and drag to create a spiral. Now notice you're kind of creating the spiral from the center outward, but not really. And let me show…
