Using the Star tool

- Now we begin the process of creating the flag for the great state of Arizona which features at its center, this copper colored star which is why in this movie I'm going to show you how you use the star tool. All right. So I'll go and switch to this document, which features a couple of big stripes that I drew with the rectangle tool. So no big deal there. If you're working along with me, I'd like you to drop down to the little plus sign at the bottom of the layers panel and alt or option click on it to force the display of the layer options dialog box, I'll call this layer star, and change the color from green, which I do not like, which I think looks infinitely better. And then I'll click okay. Now you want to bring up the shape tool flyout menu, and select the star tool, which immediately follows the polygon tool.
