Using Type on a Path

- [Instructor] To finish this design what we need to do is add some text onto a path that is currently around the main design. We want a word along the top. And a few words along the bottom. So I've got a circle drawn here and because you can only go in one direction around a circle, in Illustrator, I'm going to need to cut the path into two segments. Well to do that, I need the scissors tool. Ask yourself, what do scissors do? Now you're going to say a word like cut and you'd be right. So what's the first letter of cut? It's C! And if you tap C on your keyboard, you'll get the scissors tool. It's just like some form of weird magic. But there you are. And I can come along and click on this path, I've just clicked on the left hand side.
