Using area type

- [Instructor] Okay I'm going to grab a bunch more text from my text file. I'm going to get hold of this paragraph just here. Okay, so I'll copy that to my clipboard and pop back to Illustrator and paste that down. Now this is what happens when it gets pasted in as point text, it comes in as one great big long line. Now that doesn't mean you have to create a container for it, and then paste it in, although you could do that. You could create a text box with the actual type tool, you could go ahead and drag like so, and that creates something called area type, but what we're going to do is convert our point type here to area type, and we do that by going to the right-hand end and you'll see that when you hover over that small circle, you get a different icon. And what that icon is telling you is, is that if you double-click it, it will convert that to area type. So if I do that, it's now converted. I'm going to get hold of the…
