Using blend modes

- [Instructor] This movie is about the very simple but very effective technique of combining letter shapes using blend modes. I have two separate text containers. This one contains an S in Bodoni 72, and this one a G in Gill Sans. Both of these fonts are available on Adobe Fonts. I can select the top most item then come to my properties panel and down to my blend modes, so I have all of these familiar, familiar if you are a Photoshop user or a user of Illustrator on the desktop, these familiar blend modes and we can combine shapes using them. We can also combine that with different levels of opacity. Of course, you'll get very different results using different letter shapes and different color combinations.
