Using blends

- [Instructor] Apart from blending between similar objects with different colors to make gradients that may otherwise be difficult, the Blend tool actually has some surprising uses, and is a fantastic tool to play around with and get some interesting results. What we're going to do here is, we're going to do a couple of different operations with the Blend tool, starting with the star here in the front, and the circle at the back. Now, what I want to do first is open the Layers panel, and twirl open this layer, so you can see that the star is in front, and the ellipse is at the back, okay? I just want you to see that, because it will change the result, and neither of these things have a stroke on them. I'm then going to tap W on my keyboard which gets me the Blend tool, and I'm going to click on the star, and then go ahead and click on the ellipse, and you can see that a blend is created between the two.
