Using data to tell your best story
- [Narrator] Great sell sheets don't just make claims, they rely on data to back up their claims. So, whether that data made it into your three key differentiators or not, it might make sense to include it as part of your sell sheet. Not every sell sheet needs data to help drive their point home, but many are strengthened by it. Let's consider how data should be incorporated in the overarching layout of your design. First, unlike an infographic in which data visualizations are used throughout the piece, a sell sheet should have one section dedicated to data to ensure it isn't overwhelming and it doesn't deter from the product itself. With only one page to catch someone's attention, you don't want to clutter the message with too much data. So consider showing three to four main datasets at most. The way you present your data makes a difference as well. For example, this sell sheet from my favorite apparel company Sportique is using data to help push their value and key differentiators…
