Using the draw modes

- [Instructor] Now the default way that Illustrator works is that when new objects are created, be that something you draw or if it's something you make, like a group, that they are introduced above the current object. So wherever something is in the stacking order they are usually introduced immediately above that. However, you can change that for drawing to stop you from having to unnecessarily go around and arrange things. Let me show you how that works. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to set up something here before I draw an ellipse and in fact I did this in the previous movie if you are watching this sequentially. So this will be no news to you this part, but if I draw this ellipse like so, trying to emulate a shadow for the cup, what I would then have to do is, before I draw anything else, is send that to the back like so. Now that's an additional step. There is a way that I can actually draw it…
