Using masks effectively: Part 3
- So I want to show you one simple real world usage of isometric that I used recently. A friend of mine, Brian, sits on a city council, and this was a sign that the city council had kind of come up with for their park system. And Brian teaches design at a local college, and he did not like this design at all, which I can understand why, and so he asked me if I'd design a new sign for him that he could bring to the board and show them what a well designed sign would look like, and I said, "Sure, I can do that." So he gave me the proportions, and I created this design. So this is the actual design. I had no idea if they were gonna go for this. I thought, you know, they might get hung up on it having a skull in it, but you know what, they loved it, and what really sold them on it was that I mocked it up in an isometric view to kind of show them a better context of how it's gonna work.
