Using the orient tools

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll see how to use the Orient Tools in Astute Graphics SubScribe. The first thing I want to do in my file here is to straighten up my starfish and this lettering. But the starfish present two different situations, and if I go to the View menu and make sure that Show Bounding Box is turned on, we can see the difference. If I select the starfish on the left, I see that its bounding box was reset after it was rotated. The one on the right was not. So to get started, I'll select the starfish on the left and take the Orient Tool, and click on two points that I want to use to align this. I'll click here and here. Now that I've defined the line, I can drag at either point to rotate the starfish when I see a bent arrow cursor. And to constrain the line to 45-degree increments, I can hold the Shift key.
