What you should know before watching this course

If you're interested in logo design, whether you've yet to design a logo or whether you've already designed many, you'll get something from this course. I'm using Adobe Illustrator as my primary tool. And so that I can move at a brisk pace, keep focus on the topic of logo design, I'm assuming you're comfortable with the basics of Illustrator. If you're not, there are many courses here on lynda.com to get you up to speed. This course is designed as a companion piece to my two other logo courses, designing a logo and designing a logo for a media company. To avoid repeating myself, I'm not covering some of the fundamentals I mentioned in those courses. If you're following along, you'll know that I want to experiment with your own solutions. Keep in mind that my solutions are not definitive. Your ideas may be as good or better. This course is about a methodology and approach. Following that methodology in whole or in part. We will arrive at different results.
