- [Instructor] In this movie we'll see how to use Stylism controls to work with Gaussian Blur Live Effects in Illustrator. To begin, I'll select my object and to apply a Gaussian Blur, I'll click on the last button in the bottom row in the Stylism Panel. And I have just one annotation here to work with. If I move my cursor near it, I can see the current blur radius which is six pixels. And I can click and drag to the left to decrease this value or drag to the right to increase it. If I drag far enough to the right I get an alert dialog box telling me that Stylism has automatically increased one of my Document Raster Effects Settings in order to avoid clipping the appearance of my blur. Also note, that this dialog box is telling me that I might want to manually reduce this padding if it's no longer required in order to get the best performance. I'll click OK to dismiss the dialog box. And the setting that that dialog box…
