- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how to import this Illustrator file that we've saved in the previous movie as Illustrator Version 8 and work with it inside a 3D application. This process will be more or less the same in all 3D packages. However, I'm going to use Cinema 4D in order to demonstrate it. So, to bring this file into Cinema 4D, I'm going to go to File, and choose Open. Then I'm going to navigate to the Chapter 3 folder inside the Exercise Files and I'm going to select the file that we've just saved, Take Me Away_8. Let's click on Open and this is going to show us the Adobe Illustrator Import dialog where we can scale these vectors but I'm just going to click OK. And here they are. We have access to the individual path that were exported from Adobe Illustrator in order to create a 3D object out of them, because currently if I'm just going to press Command or Control + R to render the result, there is nothing here.
