A first look at object blends

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to create the ridges around the tower. And along the way, we'll take a first look at object blending, which we'll explore in greater detail in the advanced course. All right, so I'll go ahead and switch over to my artwork at hand. I'll press Control + Y or Command + Y on the Mac in order to switch to the outline mode. And I'll go ahead and zoom in on this guy right here. And then, I'll go ahead and select the curvature tool. Which again, you can get by pressing Shift + ~, and I'm going to start things off right here. Now I don't want to click directly here because if I do, I will light up this path outline, which is not what I want. And then if I were to click a second time, I would add an anchor point to this segment. Don't want to do that, so I'll start over here let's say, just a little bit over.
