Okay. Once again, I am Anne and I am sitting at my Mac in InDesign. I get an e-mail from Joe saying, hey! Here are the files that I updated for you. So now I need to merge his updates of those stories into the InDesign layout and once again InDesign makes it nice and easy for me. First, I just download this IDAP file and in this case I am just going to save the file right to my Downloads folder. Now, normally what you do is just double -click on this and it would update the layout, even if you don't have it open, as long as you did not rename the layout or rename the folders or change any of the folder hierarchy, okay? So it knows how to look for its mom, which is kind of cool. But for the purposes of our training here at lynda.com, what I need to do if you are following along is to take that 15_03_updatingpackages.zip, when you unzip it, you'll see inside there, there is the original folder from which we had created the ICAP file.
