313 Quick Apply preferences

- [Instructor] I think most InDesign users who've been using it for awhile are aware of Quick Apply, especially if you've watched any of our InDesign Secrets videos here. We've talked about Quick Apply quite often. And that is the little dialog box that opens up. If you choose Quick Apply from under the Edit menu or more likely you're pressing the wonderful keyboard shortcut Command+Return on a Mac, or Control+Enter on Windows. And what that allows you to do is start typing the name of any paragraph or character style instead of having to scroll through the panel menus and quickly apply it to wherever your cursor is blinking in the screen. Now what I want to show you in this video is that you can use Quick Apply to access Preferences as well. That is a wonderful thing, and let me show you why it's so wonderful.
