- [Instructor] See this image? I want to duplicate it over and over in a big grid on my page, and there are two great ways to do this, one very precise and numerical, and one more loose and interactive. I'll show you both. First, let's do it the precise way. Now that I've selected the frame, I'm going to head up to the Edit menu, and I'll choose Step and Repeat. Now normally, this just duplicates an object in a single row or a column, but if I come over here and turn on Create as a grid, now I'm going to be making a grid of duplicates. Now I know that I want two columns and let's say four rows, and I want each row to be 16 picas apart and each column to be 23 picas, six. Because the Preview checkbox is turned on inside the dialog box, I can see that I have it right even before I close the dialog box. So this is great when you know exactly how many columns and rows you want and exactly how far you want to move the objects, but if you're working more fluidly, then you might like this…
