- [Instructor] I'd like to add to your knowledge bank some tips for working with effects in InDesign. Now you probably already know the required effect which is drop shadow and what I want to talk about in this video is applying the same effect to multiple objects. A couple different ways to go about it. So I've selected this image and I'll go to Effects and I want to add an effect of a drop shadow, so I click the Effects dropdown and choose Drop Shadow or I could have gone up to Object, Effects and chosen Drop Shadow there or memorize the keyboard shortcut but I'm just going to do it from here and choose Drop Shadow. And I'll just go ahead and accept the defaults. That's a little ugly. So maybe I'll choose 35%. There, that's a little better. Okay, so 35% drop shadow and now if I want to apply that same drop shadow to these other elements, the best way to do it would be to create an object style and to do…
