- [Instructor] Did you ever need to get text out of a supplied PDF to use in your layout? Of course you have. And how many times has the client or boss sent you some dusty, old PDF and said, "Here, you can pull the tags right from here, no problem, right? To put it in to your current layout in InDesign." Like, this PDF that was created in I think 1491 has some really old text, but some of the text, I do need to reuse here in InDesign. So here's InDesign, here's the waiting layouts. Let me zoom in a bit. Okay, so I know that the first thing that you try to do is to grab text with the regular selection tool, right? Well, of course, that often leads to problems or it's impossible to do, so in this video I'm going to show you a couple of great, quick workarounds that you can use should you ever run into this problem.
