Activating Adobe Fonts

- [Instructor] Adobe Fonts are fonts that you can activate on your computer at anytime and are included as part of your Creative Cloud subscription. Open a document in Adobe InDesign that uses Adobe Fonts. If the Adobe Fonts are not active on your system, you'll be notified that the fonts are missing via the Missing Fonts dialogue box but will be provided with an opportunity to activate them. Note the missing fonts appear highlighted in pink within the document. Enable the Activate checkbox next to each font that is missing. Click the Activate button. Note the notification that appears. And in a few seconds, the fonts are activated. Click the Close button. To manually activate fonts, select the Type tool in the Tools panel and click within some text in your document. In the font menu in the Properties panel, click the Find More tab and then scroll through the available fonts and click the icon to the far right to activate them. Click OK to activate the font. And in a few seconds, that font is activated as well.
