Add layers
- [Instructor] Having created a 24-page document, the next thing I would like to do is create some layers. Let's take a look at the final version. These are the layers that I'm using, and having these layers really helps me organize content. For example, if I don't want to see the pictures, I can just turn those off. If I don't want to see the text, I can do the same, or maybe I can lock the text so that I can't disturb any elements that are on that layer. Now I'm not going to create all of these layers now, because when starting out, you wouldn't necessarily anticipate the need for all of these. But beginning a document, I know there are certain layers that I will need, and those are text. I'll create a new layer beneath this one. To create the layer beneath, hold Command and Option and click on Create New Layer. Pictures, I'll do the same thing, to create one called Panels. As a matter of preference, I'll just…
