- [Instructor] The next step in the creation of our 24 page annual report document is to create the master page items. Specifically, the page number and folio. So here in my work in progress, I need to make sure I'm on the master page. I'm going to come to the layers panel and target the master page items layer. Press T for my type tool, draw myself a text frame from the outside guide to the inside margin. Type menu, insert special characters, markers, current page number, and then press the tab key, then type in the publication note. Command or control 2, to zoom in to a 200% view. From the type menu, turn on hidden characters. We want to set the position of that tab stop to correspond with the outside margin. To bring out the tab ruler, command, shift, T. And I can click on it right there. I need to make sure that it is a left justified tab. Dismiss the tab ruler. I also would like a rule going above the folio.…
