- [Instructor] One other kind of tweaks that you might want to make to your InDesign document as far as the structure is concerned is to assign what's called semantic markup to sections of the document. It's kind of an obscure topic but it has to do with two things. First of all, it has to do with making your eBook more future proof. Who know what kind of devices people will be using to reach your EPUB five or 10 years from now. But one thing that they're all going to be able to do is to search through the EPUB to see where you marked up things like list of illustrations, telephone, a dedication, of course chapter starts, front matter, back matter, that kind of thing. That's semantic markup. That's something that you actually need to select a frame in InDesign and apply.
