Aligning and transforming frames
- [Instructor] In this video we're going to explore alignment controls, distribution controls, some of the transform features, and you're good friend the smart guides. Start by selecting this second rectangle and let's say that we want this rectangle to align with this rectangle. Well using smart guides it's pretty easy. Just hold on to that rectangle, push it up and you'll see these little green guides waking up as you happen to encounter other edges, but when you get to the top of the adjacent rectangle you'll see the little confirming green lines and there you go. Now if you don't see those, it means that smart guides are turned off. Let's check. Go to view, grids and guides, make sure that there's a check mark by smart guides. If there isn't, roll over there, choose smart guides and then release your mouse and that'll turn them on. They're on for me, I don't want to turn them off so I'll just move my cursor outside the menu. So that's one way to align things, but if I needed to…
