- [Instructor] Publish Online is a great way to easily share your InDesign projects with others, even projects that include interactivity, but in order for your audience to view your content, any content published by a Publish Online, well, they have to be online. They have to have an internet connection. And while it doesn't happen very often, there are times when you want to be able to view content and you won't have an internet connection. Think of a salesperson who has information on an iPad that needs to be accessed in a meeting or when you're sitting on an airplane and don't want to pay those expensive wifi fees. The good news is you can allow your users to download a PDF of your project that they can read anytime anywhere with no internet connection required. You can publish a document so that this icon appears when it's published and viewed by your readers.
