Applying a paragraph style - InDesign Tutorial
From the course: InDesign Quick Tips
Applying a paragraph style
- [Instructor] Applying styles to text in InDesign is as easy as clicking a button or choosing an option from a drop-down menu. Using the Type tool, click within the Pittinger Gallery text and note that the Subhead style is currently applied to that text. Click in the Perseverance & Persistence in Art text and choose Subhead from the Styles drop-down menu. Repeat this process for the Saturday text, for the Ticket Sales text, and for the Roux Academy website text. Because I'm only formatting a single paragraph, I only have to click within the paragraph instead of selecting it. Repeat the steps for the body text by selecting the remaining text and choosing Body from the drop-down menu. Because I'm formatting more than one paragraph at a time, I do need to select them in order to affect all of those paragraphs.
