Breaking your grid with pop-out images

- [Instructor] Similar to the cut-out image is the pop-out image where you have a part of the image breaking out of the rectangular frame as we have here with the snowboarder where the hand and part of the snowboard breaks out of the rectangle. This is achieved either using a Photoshop path or using layers. In this case, I've done it with a Photoshop path and it involves having a copy of the image exactly on top of the original and then increasing the size of its frame, revealing portions of the image that are cut out. I'm going to come to the Layers panel and then disclose the contents of the picture's layer where we see two copies of this image. To show you how I created this, I'll select the top one and delete it and I'm back to the point now where the whole of my image is confined within the frame. I'll select it and now duplicate it by dragging the item onto the Create New Layer icon, so I'm back to having two copies now. I'll select the top version, come to the Object menu and…
