- [Instructor] Please don't ever do this. Don't build a lonely little business card in the middle of a letter-sized page. You always build your document to the final trim size. If it's a postcard, that's going to be six inches by nine inches. Your document size is six inches by nine inches. In this case, standard US business cards should be three and a half inches wide by two inches tall. So I'm going to get my zoom tool, and zoom in on this, and see what the designer did. They were thoughtful. They used a script to put the crop marks and registration marks. This isn't going to help the printer at all. The printer needs for this artwork to fall on the correct trim size document. So, first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to sort of clean house.
