Building a simple three-panel brochure

- [Instructor] I'm going to build a three panel 4 inch by 9 inch folding brochure in Illustrator. Now I could start like this with two art boards, one for the outside, one for the inside of the brochure, and a whole bunch of guidelines. And this is workable but there's another method that I really like. Let me show you and you see what you think of it. I'm going to open up my file brochure start. This just has one little art board right now and that's really just a placeholder. What I have here are 6 rectangles that are representing the 6 panels, 3 for the outside, 3 for the inside. And first of all, I'm going to line them up by dragging across them to select them all, I'll align the top edges, I'll click on one to make it hold still and be the key object, and then I can open up my distribute options, set my distribution space to zero, now they're all snugged up.
