Creating and formatting headline text
- [Instructor] Headline text is simply large attention grabbing text that helps to establish priority and hierarchy in a design. Choose the type tool to make it active. Then click and drag with the type tool to draw a text frame. Type the word art in all caps. Then choose edit, select all to select all of the text within that frame. In the properties panel click on the fill indicator and choose the orange swatch to apply that color to the text. In the font menu choose Adobe Garamond Pro and leave the font face set to regular. In the size field enter 265 points, and press the Return key to size the text accordingly. Press the Escape key on your keyboard. And either drag the text frame or nudge it using the arrow keys on your keyboard to position it accordingly.
