Customizing keyboard shortcuts

- [Instructor] We all know how valuable keyboard shortcuts can be. As opposed to mousing through menus and sub menus to access a command, a keyboard shortcut gets us there with the tap of a key so to speak. As clever as the InDesign developers were at giving us useful and efficient keyboard shortcuts, sometimes they have their shortcomings, no pun intended. Sometimes a shortcut just doesn't work for us or a command that we do use doesn't have a keyboard shortcut. In those cases, you can easily create your own keyboard shortcut for a command that you use quite easily. Let's take a look. Now it doesn't really matter what document you have open to do this, and as a matter of fact, you don't even need a document open, but what I'm going to do is go to my edit menu and I'm going to choose keyboard shortcuts.
