Defining the needs of the package

- [Instructor] It's essential that you involve your client and tap into their expertise and insights as you define and refine the specific needs of the packaging design for the product. Share the insights that you have now gained through your research, and propose several approaches to the look and feel of the package design for the client. Help them see where you're coming from in regards to your thinking about possible directions and rely on their expertise of the product to help guide and inform the initial design ideas. These will be top-level boards that are done quickly from your image search to get impulse-level responses. Is it old world, handcraft? Modern processes? Or highly-tuned, scientific aesthetics? Try to work with big, focus images. Then, secondary. And tertiary images, so that you get across the idea of each board to help in the articulation of the possible directions.
