- [Instructor] It helps, I think, to get a really good understanding about, in an InDesign document, which elements will not convert, which elements will not make it into a reflowable EPUB that you need to consider. Let me go through a bunch of these and then we'll look at a couple test documents. Anything that's on the master page that you have not overwritten on the document page, that does not get exported to EPUB. Similarly, pasteboard items don't get exported or anything hidden or non-printing. If you have items that are overlapping each other, say that you put a picture on top of a background, colored a separate frame, or you put a text frame on top of the picture and then draw a triangle on top of those two, they don't export as, by default, overlapping. They export one after the other as sequential items. If you have multiple frames on a page, the space between the frames gets collapsed. If you have multiple columns, like a four-column text frame, or you have span and split…
