- [Instructor] Let's use the same technique for nesting InDesign documents in a completely different way. During my years as a print designer, I've often come across local printers that would do their own imposition in InDesign using some sort of a template. But in reality, they would often copy and paste the same card multiple times across a page, resulting in a nightmare if last minute edits were ever required. But with the help of a nested InDesign document and a little InDesign script will make this process as painless as possible. Let's get started here inside of Adobe InDesign where I have my card ready to go. So if I open up the document properties by going up to File and choose Document Setup, you can see that this is a regular US business card, 3.5 inches by two inches, using margins and using Bleed 0.125 inch.
