- [Instructor] The Intro to Graphic Design course or I2GD as we call it here affectionately, teaches the basic concepts of graphic design. Although it's been made easy enough to follow if you're new to the software, this isn't an introduction to InDesign, and if you're keen to learn more, there is a lot of content on the library that could help you out with that. Let's get InDesign set up so we're all looking at pretty much the same workspace. It will make it easier for you to follow along that way. So here in the welcome screen, what I'm going to do is come along and click the InDesign logo, just at the top here, and that will take us into InDesign. Now what we can then do is go to the Window menu, come down to Workspace, and then we're going to choose Essentials Classic. Now it will draw the in-space, but it might have been tinkered with, so we can always go back to the Window menu, back to Workspace, and choose Reset Essentials Classic from there. And just so you know, you can also do that from this menu here in the application bar. Now, we're not going to be doing much with cc-libraries, certainly not at the moment, so what we can do here at this top of this panel is just click this double arrow here to collapse that and then we can go in between these two columns, like so, and click and drag to the right so that just becomes an icon. It's all still there, and it will expand if you click on it but for now, that's exactly as we need it.
