- [Instructor] Just before we go any further, now might be a good time to actually save our document. So everything you've done so far is protected. So Command S or Control S should get you to that good stuff. I'm going to save mine out here onto my desktop but of course you can save it to any location you like. All you need to do then is hit Save and that's it. InDesign starts protecting that document for you as well although it tries with unsaved documents, but it really tries super hard with saved documents, it makes it slightly easier and just in case that protection doesn't work you know that you've done your best to protect it. Okay so we've just added a master page here or a guide layout on our master pages and inside the group of panels that you get with pages, you have this one layers. And it makes sense to actually split content up onto different layers, logically it can help you especially if you start working in big…
