Manually creating and editing bookmarks
- [Instructor] In the last movie I showed how to make bookmarks automatically with a table of contents feature. Now, I've closed that document without saving it, and opened it again so that we can start from scratch. I'll come over here and open my bookmarks panel, and you can see that it's blank. No bookmarks at all. So let's go ahead and add one. I'll start here on this first page. To add a bookmark that jumps to this first page, all I need to do is click on the new bookmark button at the bottom of the panel. You'll see that it not only adds a bookmark, but it names it bookmark one, which is not very helpful. So it's selected, and I can change that simply by typing what I want the bookmark to be called. I'll call it cover. Then, I'll hit return or enter. Now, if I ever need to rename this, all I need to do is select it and then come over to the panel menu and choose rename bookmark. Perhaps I want it called home instead. I'll open up my pages panel, and I'll double click on some…
