Object Styles

- [Instructor] Object Styles give us the ability to repeatedly apply formatting elements to objects in InDesign. Any property that you can apply to an object can be saved using an Object Style. Those properties are Stroke, Fill, Text Wrap, Corner Options, just to name a few. Let's look at an example of how to create and apply an Object Style, then we'll look at how to update them as well. So I'm starting here on page 20 of my document and one of the design treatments that we want to apply to some of these photos is a beveled corner in the upper left and lower right of the image. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to select this photo on page 20, I'll go ahead and zoom in to make it a little bit easier to see, and I'm going to come up here to Object, Corner Options, and I'm going to make sure that the link button is unchecked and I'm going to change the upper left and lower right to bevel.
