Placing and updating a Photoshop file

- If you're working on a project inside of Adobe Illustrator, know that you can place Native file formats like a Photoshop PSD file. Let's see how that works. I'm here inside of Adobe Illustrator and I have a few layers good to go. So I have a lock layer, which will hold my logo. I have some text, which is actually already in the file, it's just white text on your white background. And I have my regular background layer, as well. So, what I'll do is I'll go up to the file menu and I'll choose 'Place'. From there, I'll select the file that I would like to place from the 'Links' folder and notice that I have several options. Now, for now, I'll just quickly de-select the import options I'll just click the 'Link' option instead. I'll click 'Place'. I'll have a loaded cursor position now. And I'll just click to place the Photoshop document. Now, I'll drag this into position, there we go. And as you can see from the 'Links'…
