Preflighting in InDesign

- As you're going through one final check on your document before you send it to the printer, you might want to use InDesign built in pre-flight feature to locate some hard to find problems. Now when you look at the bottom you'll see a red dot and that's meant to catch your eye. Meant to tell you that there are some issues. It tells us that there are two errors. If you'll double click on the word errors, it wakes up the pre-flight panel. It tells us we have two text errors. Let's find out what kind and where they are. Click the little arrow to the left. And it says, it's overset text. Click that little arrow and it tells us the two text frames that have the issues. If you'll just click on the number, it's hyperlinked to that location in the document. Here we are on page five. If I'll just drag down on that frame that leaves enough room for the text.
