Printing and exporting PDFs

- An InDesign document, by itself, is fun to look at. But, ultimately, you're going to want to print it, or export it out as a PDF, so that other people can view it or print it. But before we print or export this file, let's see how it's going to look by jumping into preview mode. You can do that by pressing the "W" key on your keyboard as long as you don't have the text cursor inside a text frame, of course. And, this is great because preview mode hides all the non-printing objects like guides. Also, any objects that are hanging off the side of the page onto the pasteboard get clipped at the page edge. So, this is what the final page is going to look like when you print it, or export it to PDF. Now, you can actually select objects and work on your document while you're in preview mode. But then, when you're done previewing, just press "W" again and you're back into the normal screen mode. Okay, now everybody knows that…
