- [Instructor] Let's take a look at the advanced options in the Publish Online dialog box. First, you can choose a cover thumbnail. As it says right here in the dialog, this thumbnail is for sharing on social media such as Facebook. By default it will usually be the first page of your document, or you can choose a different page inside your document to be the thumbnail. You can also create and choose a custom image, either at JPEG or a GIF, and sometimes you're going to want to do this when you share your document, especially on Facebook. But we're going to talk about that in another video. Next we have Image Settings. Overall, I always let InDesign do the conversion for format. It does a really good job of that and you don't need to change it. The next option we have is for resolution. The default is a standard resolution of 96 PPI. You can go at it low res, you might want to use this if you're doing a quick proof for a client or you can go out at high DPI or 144 PPI. As the warning…
