Setting and editing hyperlink destinations

- [Narrator] In the past couple of movies, I've mentioned both text anchors and shared hyperlink destinations, but I need to give you just a little more information about how to edit these so that you won't get frustrated when you inevitably need to make changes. First, sometimes you apply a hyperlink to the wrong thing. For example, I'll double click down here on this text frame to switch to the type tool. Then I'll select a couple of these words, and then I'll apply a hyperlink to this text by choosing one from the shared hyperlink destination pop-up menu at the top of the hyperlink's panel. But now I think, dang, I really meant to apply it to this word down here too, the word photography. Fortunately, InDesign makes it really easy to move the link to a new selection. All you have to do is make the new selection, and this could include the original text like this, or it could be a completely new selection.
