- [Instructor] Here I have some complicated artwork that's going to be die-cut. Let me show you where the cut's going to fall. The part that's sort of ghosted out now is the part that's going to remain, it's everything else that gets trimmed out. I'm going to get my zoom tool and zoom in and I'm going to show you that I drew myself sort of a bleed line in order to indicate how I was going to have to create the artwork to meet the bleed. I can't just come straight out with this part. What if the die cut slips a little bit? Then I'd see a little sliver of white or yellow. So what I need to do is create what we call a beveled bleed. So let me show you how this looks. I'm not going to put you through the agony of watching me create it. It looks really weird, I know, but you can imagine if this die has a little bit of irregularity, if it falls a little bit out of register with the piece, it's still going to have a pretty good…
