Sharing InDesign elements between versions

- [Anne-Marie] You know may know that if you want to share an InDesign layout with somebody else who has an earlier version of InDesign, you need to go to the File menu, choose Export, and export to IDML, or in Save As, choose save as IDML to share. But what if you don't want to share the entire document? What if you only want to share a piece of it? Maybe you're working with a freelancer who has, in this case, InDesign CC 2019, and I'm using InDesign 2020. Is there a way just to share a piece? Well, you may think, well, just copy and paste. So for example, I'm on the same computer. I have CC 2019 running as well, okay. So we'll go back to 2020. And let's say that I copy this. So I've copied the logo, the fill frame, and this text frame. And I'll copy to the clipboard. Switch back to 2019. Choose Paste, okay. Ah, perfect. And we'll put it right up here and so on. And now I want to edit it. I can't. It comes in…
